About Us

Entertainment Film Distributors is the leading UK independent distributor and producer of British films. The company was founded in 1978 and is headed up by Nigel Green.

The company’s releases over the decades have garnered over 160 Academy, BAFTA and Golden Globe Award encompassing a diverse range of films including The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Silver Linings Playbook, Lion, Her, Brokeback Mountain, The Departed, The Reader, The Artist and American Hustle.
